Creating a Shared Direction
| We have facilitated groups of up to 1000 students, staff and parents across multi-campus sites. With student assistance, we gather individual input and assist with the development of a shared mission, vision, values and behaviours, and a graduate profile or exit outcomes. |

|
For many, the impact on school relationships and alignment of shared direction has been significant.

Planning
Many schools at some time in their planning cycle are faced with the challenge of engaging staff, students and the broader school community, in developing the organisation's strategic direction.
| We have been supporting schools, and others, develop shared direction and understanding of the organisation as an interconnected system. This involves facilitating group input to collectively create a System Map that includes shared purpose, vision and values. This shared direction can then be translated into an operational plan (e.g. School Charter, Learning and Development Plan) detailing resourcing, responsibilities and timelines. |

|
This is achieved using Quality tools and usually involves the organisation's key stakeholders.
The process:
- Promotes goal congruence
- Provides for inclusivity, ownership and builds commitment
- Models tools that can be used in other applications
- Provides the necessary documentation to monitor progress and implementation, to communicate direction and strategy to others and facilitate annual reporting.
